How It Works
![]() |
Typical Surface Horizontal (MICROSCOPIC VIEW) All mineral-based surfaces are porous by nature. When treatment is applied, the natural pores are widened and deepened to create a tread pattern that is not slippery. |

Treated Surface Our treatment is done microscopically so there is NO VISIBLE CHANGE IN APPEARANCE! (possible 10% loss of high sheen). Treatment is not a “coating”. Treatment actually changes the finger print of a normally “SLIPPERY WHEN WET" floor. The treated tread pattern is virtually LESS SLIPPERY WET THAN WHEN DRY. |
IT IS A FEDERAL LAW!!!
ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (ADAAG): 4.5.1
* General: Ground and floor surfaces along accessible routes and in
accessible rooms and spaces including floors, walks, ramps, stairs, and
curb ramps, shall be stable, firm, slip-resistant, and shall comply with 4.5.
We utilized the same testing process used by OSHA and the ADA. Our test will read the Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) of your floor as it stands today. This process will determine if you comply with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). It takes about 10 minutes to complete and will not disrupt any business operations.
